Born Jun-Kai Teoh, I go by the name “Kai” for simplicity’s sake. Full-time journalist, part-time photographer and an occasional freelancer; I’m the all-rounder every publication needs.

I’ve won awards for both website work and photography and have been commissioned as a freelancer to do both for various different companies such as The Newsleaders, Red Bull and Rooftop Comedy.

Having cut my teeth at a small community paper as well as a college paper, I’ve dealt with workroom disagreements, budget allocations and even advertising and marketing plans.

Designing and laying out pages with InDesign comes naturally and easily, a skill acquired after three years of using it weekly under tight deadlines.
